REECE'S STORY

Reece began his landscape story in 2008 working for renowned Sydney landscape design and construction firm Goodmanors Pool + Garden where he gained extensive experience working on a range of high end residential landscape and pool projects. He completed his Landscape construction and Horticulture trade in 2012 and was recognised for a high level of achievement, awarded runner up student of the year.

 

In 2012 he started Reece Nicholas Gardens carrying out personalised landscapes for his clients across Sydney as well as subcontracting to several awarded landscape companies. In 2017 Reece followed through with his dream of becoming a landscape designer by enrolling in a Diploma of Landscape Design and Horticulture and upon completion was selected to represent Ryde Horticultural TAFE at the Melbourne Landscape Conference.

 

A pivotal point in Reece's career, in 2018 he joined landscape institution Spirit Level Designs working under director Hugh Main creating sensitive and intuitive gardens for their clients as well as some of Australia’s most awarded architects. Around this time, Reece also gained experience working with design and styling guru Richard Unsworth’s Garden Life Sydney where he honed his eye for styling and the finer details that complete an outdoor space.

By 2020 Reece Nicholas Design was formed, taking 15 years of combined experience where he continues to work closely with his clients to deliver a premium service creating considered, functional and timeless landscapes.
